Earls Hall closed for 5 weeks this spring

Earls Hall CLOSED on Friday 21st March, 28th March, 4th April, 11th April and 18th April 2025.

Earls Hall will be closed for 5 weeks, re-opening on Friday 25th April.

Southend Foodbank is usually open in at least one location 6 days a week. 

There are 8 distribution centres across Southend and Rochford. You are welcome to take your foodbank voucher to any of these locations.

Please note: the address for the admin office is NOT a distribution session. You cannot get a voucher from there or collect food. You can only take your foodbank voucher to one of the 8 locations listed here. 

Need a foodbank voucher?

You need a foodbank voucher before you come to the foodbank. Over 150 local agencies can offer a foodbank voucher, including Citizens Advice, SAVS, SECH, and some schools, social prescribers, health teams and housing support.

Monday 1pm - 3pm Ferndale Baptist Church, North Avenue, SS2 5HU.  Citizens Advice usually attend at Ferndale.

Monday 5pm - 6.30pm Hawkwell Faith, Hope and Charity Shop, 40 Hedingham Place, SS4 1UP. 

Tuesday 1pm - 3pm Belle Vue Baptist Church, Belle Vue Avenue, SS1 2QZ. Citizens Advice usually attend at Belle Vue.

Wednesday 9.30am - 11am Eastwood Baptist Church, Rayleigh Road, SS9 5PY. Citizens Advice usually attend at Eastwood.

Wednesday 1pm - 3pm St Saviours Church, Kings Road, SS0 8LL. Citizens Advice usually attend at St Saviours Kings Road.

Thursday 12.30pm - 2.30pm Shoeburyness and Thorpe Bay Baptist Church, 90 Thorpedene Gardens, SS3 9JD. Citizens Advice usually attend at Shoebury.

Friday 12.30pm - 2.30pm Earls Hall Baptist Church, 120 Hobleythick Lane, SS0 0RJ. Citizens Advice usually attend at Earls Hall. CLOSED for 5 weeks, Friday 21st March - Friday 18th April. Re-opens Friday 25th April. 

Saturday 9.30am - 11am West Leigh Baptist Church, 1150 London Road, SS9 2AJ. 

Earls Hall will be closed for 5 weeks. The foodbank more widely will be closed for the Easter weekend.
Please take a foodbank voucher and ID with you when you visit the foodbank. Citizens Advice, SAVS and SECH can help you get a foodbank voucher.
