Schools
Your school can help us provide food to people facing hunger.
When schools work with local charities, amazing things happen!
Pupils learn empathy and teamwork, and together we help make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

Schools in the area are invited to become voucher holders and make referrals to Southend Foodbank. If your school is not currently offering foodbank referrals and you’d like to start, please email vouchers@southend.foodbank.org.uk
We also invite local schools to run a Harvest collection for Southend Foodbank. Each year we offer materials for a Harvest collection, with downoadable resources, as well as offering to come to your school to deliver an assembly. We can also arrange for Harvest donations to be picked up from your school. We can also provide materials for alternative activities, including other seasonal collections and non-uniform days. To get involved, email admin@southend.foodbank.org.uk
Fundraising at School
Getting your school involved in fundraising is a fun and rewarding way to support the Southend & Rochford Foodbank! Whether it’s a non-uniform day, a bake sale, a tin collection, or a themed challenge, every event helps make a real difference to local families in need.
