The community organisations below can all issue food vouchers for our food bank and will make sure you are connected to wider support.
Citizens Advice - Rochford and south Essex
What happens next:
You usually have to see them in-person so they can talk through your situation and discuss the full range of support available to you, as well as getting a foodbank voucher. Contact your nearest branch.
Rayleigh - Mill Hall, Bellingham Lane: Tuesday and Thursday only between 10am - 1pm.
Rochford - Back Lane, SS4 1AY: Tuesday only between 10am - 1pm.
Citizens Advice - Southend

Office is open 10am-3pm Monday-Friday. Closed on Bank Holidays.
SAVS
What happens next:
SAVS can issue e-vouchers, or voucher codes, over the phone between 10am-12pm.

SEND the Right Message
What happens next:
SEND the Right Message Charity (STRM) is a ‘by parents and for parents’ charity whose aim is to support families with children and young people who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) in Southend, Castle Point & Rochford. They can arrange a foodbank voucher for you as part of the help they offer, which also includes disability benefits appointments, and support sessions and activities.
South Essex Community Hub (SECH)
What happens next:
You can call SECH or drop in. The Hub also offers free access to computers and support from volunteers if you are struggling to access help online
Opening Times: Monday to Friday | 10am – 12pm, 1pm – 4pm.
Citizens Advice – Citizens Advice are available without an appointment on Friday mornings between 10 and 12 at our Help In Hub. Free advice and information.
Welcome to the UK
What happens next:
This charity offers a kind welcome, information, practical support, language help and English classes, family sessions and community activities for people who are new to the UK. They can also help explain how to get and use the voucher.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Closed on Bank Holidays.
