In the wake of Trussell Trust news this week which said:

68% of working households in receipt of Universal Credit have gone without essentials in the last six months.
Almost half (48%) of people claiming Universal Credit ran out of food in the last month and did not have enough money to buy more.
An estimated 1.6 million people claiming Universal Credit have needed to use a food bank in the last 12 months.
Close to half (46%) of people claiming Universal Credit are either behind on bills and credit commitments or are finding it a constant struggle to keep up with them.
