10 Years of Southend Foodbank
Southend Foodbank opened 10 years ago, and throughout 2023 we found ways to mark this occasion in the community, with our volunteers and with our foodbank guests.
So far, we have had a volunteer coffee morning, a 10-year event at The Mayor’s Parlour with our voucher-holder community partners, local Councillors and Southend’s 2 Members of Parliament.
Most recently we have had a Family Fun Day for foodbank guests and their families during half term, and in November 2023 a church service at Belle Vue Baptist Church to reflect and pray on the past decade of Southend Foodbank.
