The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of foodbanks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Thirteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year we gave 1,583,668 three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis.
Unfortunately we have decided that due to the recent events unfolding we are cancelling the one-day Tesco collection this Saturday, as well as postponing the Quiz Night we were due to hold on the 27th March. Apologies to those of you who had offered to volunteer at these events.
If you would like to support us in other ways, we are running very low on stocks of tinned custard, tinned rice pudding, squash, UHT fruit juice, rice, noodles, cup-a-soup and meat meals like cans of chilli & curry.
